Currently, the only BBQ sauce Endorsed by the Diabetic Association of South Africa. The salt substitute (which is a mineral supplement) has been added to reduce the total sodium. It is also a requirement of DIABETES SA TO ALSO HAVE A REDUCED SODIUM INTAKE.
The xanthan gum is a vegetable-based, Gluten free thickener – LOW CARB – used instead of all the corn & wheat starchy thickeners.
Preservatives – 0.03 % – Minimum amount, just enough to ensure you don’t get Salmonella or any other nasty food!
