Our core values guide us through The Deli's stormy and sunny days. They are ingrained in our hearts, shaping our decisions, relationships, and interactions with suppliers, partners and clients. Identifying and doing business according to our core values helps us to make choices aligned with our true selves.

We identified three core values. They are Value for Money, Trust & Creativity.

Value for Money
Value for money is subjective and depends on individual preferences and context. What represents good value for one person might not be the same for another. Ultimately, it is getting the most out of what you pay for. This means the quality of our products must justify the price. If the quality is not up to standard or a supplier prices themselves out of the market with their product, we would rather not provide the product. This value also resonates with our Love Boxes. We would rather give more products in no-nonsense packaging than the other way around.

Trust
Trust is not a one-time achievement but an ongoing process requiring constant effort and vigilance from all stakeholders. We realise this and know that our clients trust us from the first order they place online. Whether you see trust as honesty, transparency, professionalism or privacy, we aim to ensure that you trust us. If the trust is broken, we will go out of our way to make sure we can restore it.

Creativity
This value refers to our ability to approach routine tasks and operations in innovative ways to achieve higher efficiency, effectiveness, and value. It's about brainstorming new ideas and actively implementing them to improve our processes. What normally starts as a small idea (or problem we need to solve) ends up in an implementation that directly impacts our clients. We aim to ensure our clients have the best experience working with us.

We would love your feedback. Do we live our values? Are there areas we should improve in?
